QUELL AND CO.

Cinemavixion Review

William Witney's "Quell and Co." transports viewers to the rugged Texas frontier in the post-Civil War era, a time rife with conflict and the struggle for land. The film masterfully depicts the plight of homesteaders facing the avarice of a ruthless land mogul. Led by a determined Quell, the protagonists embody resilience and a pursuit of justice against overwhelming odds. The performances, particularly from Madison Mason, Rockne Tarkington, and Petrus Antonius, lend authenticity to the harsh realities and moral complexities of the West. "Quell and Co." is a compelling narrative that explores themes of community, fairness, and the enduring spirit of those who sought to build a life on untamed land, making it a worthy addition to the Western genre.
