QUEEN CRAB

Cinemavixion Review

Brett Piper's "Queen Crab" (2015) plunges viewers into the murky depths of Crab Creek, a town besieged by a series of increasingly gruesome and inexplicable murders. The narrative centers on Hollywood actress Jennifer Kane, who finds herself entangled in the unfolding terror when she is drawn into the heart of the mystery surrounding a local lakeside home. As the body count rises, Kane must collaborate with the town's inhabitants to confront a monstrous secret that threatens to consume them all. While external data suggests a plot involving a giant, mutated crab born from a secret plant growth formula, the core elements of a killer crustacean terrorizing a small town, directed by Piper and starring Michelle Simone Miller, Kathryn Metz, and Rich Lounello, remain consistent. Despite a reported IMDb rating of 3.7/10, "Queen Crab" offers a unique, albeit grisly, take on creature features, promising a chilling encounter with a creature that is both ancient and insatiably hungry.
