PSYCHOS

Cinemavixion Review

This independently produced thriller plunges viewers into a dark narrative of vengeance and unearthed trauma. The plot centers on three young women whose past horrors resurface through anonymous video messages, compelling them to confront their sadistic captor. The film skillfully builds suspense as the protagonists embark on a perilous quest for truth and retribution, leading to a shocking revelation about their own identities. While the director, Sandy Chukhadarian, crafts a tense atmosphere, the film's exploration of psychological torment and the brutal pursuit of justice is its strongest asset. The performances by Angelica Cassidy, Deniele Ramos Cloutier, and Melissa Elena Jones anchor the narrative, effectively conveying the characters' resilience and simmering rage. "Psychos" offers a gritty, albeit disturbing, cinematic experience that delves into the lasting impact of abuse and the primal urge for revenge.
