PROTECTING MANATEES FROM EXTINCTION & HUMANS | 1000 DAYS FOR THE PLANET

Cinemavixion Review

Jean Lemire's ambitious project, '1000 Days For The Planet,' embarks on a global voyage aboard the Sedna IV, a vessel that becomes both a research station and a home. This series, spanning diverse ecosystems from the icy expanses of Alaska to the vibrant archipelagos of the Philippines, serves as a powerful testament to the planet's breathtaking biodiversity. Lemire, a distinguished scientist and UN Ambassador for the Environment, guides viewers through the intricate workings of our natural world, from the deepest oceanic trenches to the highest mountain peaks, and from sprawling savannahs to dense jungles. More than just a visual spectacle, the series is a profound meditation on the delicate equilibrium of life on Earth and the existential challenges humanity faces. It is a journey designed not only to showcase the extraordinary diversity of life but also to impress upon us the fragility of the balance that sustains it.
