PRINT OF PROOF | IT TOOK 50 YEARS TO TAKE DOWN AUSTRALIA'S MOST POLITE BANK ROBBER

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges viewers into a captivating, half-century pursuit of a remarkably polite, yet audacious, Australian bank robber. The narrative, helmed by the dedication of Detective Barry Fay and the eventual success of Detectives Musa Adalis and Guy Goldsmith, masterfully illustrates a decades-long game of cat and mouse. Through a compelling blend of archival footage, evocative recreations, and poignant victim testimonies, the film reconstructs the intricate chase. The eventual downfall, hinging on a fifty-year-old fingerprint and a fraud conviction, offers a stark reminder of how persistent investigation and a touch of serendipity can unravel even the most cunning criminal enterprises. It's a testament to enduring police work and the eventual triumph of justice.
