PREY FOR DEATH

Cinemavixion Review

In "Prey for Death", director Rene Perez crafts a gritty Western that explores the dark depths of human obsession. The film centers on Baron Emerson, a man who channels his immense wealth not into philanthropy, but into the macabre pursuit of hunting humans. His chosen quarry: warriors, outlaws, and those with a reputation for survival. The narrative gains momentum when Emerson sets his sights on Chamberlin, a legendary gunslinger awaiting execution. Emerson orchestrates Chamberlin's release, transforming his impending death sentence into a brutal game of cat and mouse across the unforgiving frontier. While the 2015 release may not boast blockbuster acclaim, its compelling premise and grim execution offer a thought-provoking, albeit bleak, cinematic experience for fans of the Western genre seeking a darker narrative.
