PRETTY OUTRAGEOUS

Cinemavixion Review

Elizabeth Blake-Thomas's "Pretty Outrageous" offers a vibrant and energetic glimpse into the ambitious world of teenage aspirations. The film centers on a trio of talented young musicians determined to win a local competition, facing the age-old hurdle of needing an older member to qualify. What follows is a charmingly chaotic journey filled with auditions, quirky characters, and the relatable struggle against the clock and unexpected obstacles. The narrative, co-written by Blake-Thomas herself, cleverly weaves themes of friendship, perseverance, and self-belief into its comedic fabric. Bolstered by a committed performance from Isabella Blake-Thomas and a supporting cast that brings a delightful eccentricity to their roles, the film successfully captures the spirit of youthful determination. Its family-friendly tone and lighthearted approach make it an enjoyable watch for those seeking a feel-good story about chasing dreams against the odds.
