PRETEND ONE

Cinemavixion Review

“Pretend One” offers a whimsical premise: a young woman's imaginary childhood friend faces an existential crisis when a real-life romance blossoms. The narrative explores the delicate balance between cherished fantasy and the tangible joys of human connection. While the film delves into themes of nostalgia and the evolution of relationships, it occasionally struggles to fully flesh out the emotional depth of its characters. Despite this, the core concept remains engaging, presenting a unique perspective on growing up and letting go.
