PRESUMED DEAD IN PARADISE

Cinemavixion Review

Mary Lambert's "Presumed Dead in Paradise" plunges viewers into a deceptive tropical paradise, a setting that quickly reveals its sinister underbelly. The film masterfully contrasts the allure of an island getaway with a chilling conspiracy, centered on Madison Ashland's struggle for her inheritance and her very life. Melise delivers a compelling performance as Madison, navigating a treacherous landscape of familial betrayal and hidden motives. Olivia d'Abo and Gavin Houston round out a cast that effectively embodies the film's themes of trust and deception. While the narrative unfolds with the pacing of a classic thriller, it keeps audiences guessing as Madison unravels the dark secrets threatening to consume her. This is a suspenseful journey where the sun-drenched scenery serves as a stark backdrop to a gripping fight for survival and truth.
