PREMEDITATED

Cinemavixion Review

Joy Millana's "Premeditated" plunges viewers into a disorienting narrative about four independent filmmakers whose promising trip to a rural film festival takes a dark turn. Upon arrival for a crucial meeting with a movie executive, they find themselves incarcerated for a crime they cannot recall committing. The film masterfully explores themes of memory, perception, and the fragility of reality as the protagonists grapple with a night shrouded in amnesia. Millana crafts an atmosphere of mounting dread and suspense, leaving the audience to piece together the fragmented events alongside the characters. The performances by Michael Artis, Ralph Bowsher IV, and Tenesia Crook anchor the unsettling mystery, drawing the audience into their desperate search for truth within the confines of their inexplicable imprisonment.
