PREHISTORIC WOMEN

Cinemavixion Review

Embark on a journey through time with "Prehistoric Women," a film that plunges a British explorer into a matriarchal society where roles are dramatically reversed. The narrative expertly weaves elements of adventure and fantasy as David Marchant finds himself caught between a powerful queen and her enslaved subjects. The film's premise, exploring themes of power dynamics and societal structure, is both intriguing and thought-provoking. While the original description hints at a rich world, the 1967 film, directed by Michael Carreras, brings this vision to life with a compelling performance from Martine Beswick as the formidable Queen Kari. Its B-movie charm and unique premise make it a fascinating watch for those interested in speculative fiction and primal societal explorations.
