POOL PARTY MASSACRE

Cinemavixion Review

Drew Marvick's "Pool Party Massacre" (2017) plunges viewers into a sun-drenched nightmare where a group of affluent socialites find their leisurely day by the pool brutally interrupted by a relentless killer. The film artfully balances the superficiality of its characters with the escalating terror of their predicament, creating a tension that is both campy and genuinely unsettling. While the film may not boast A-list accolades, it offers a compelling slice of independent horror, driven by a narrative that effectively transforms a setting of relaxation into one of dread. For fans of slasher flicks with a touch of social satire, "Pool Party Massacre" provides a chillingly good time.
