POOL PARTY MASSACRE

Cinemavixion Review

This slasher offering delivers a familiar premise with a contemporary sheen. The narrative, which follows a group of affluent young adults whose idyllic pool party devolves into a terrifying ordeal, echoes classic horror tropes while grounding itself in relatable social dynamics. The direction effectively builds suspense, utilizing the sun-drenched setting to create a stark contrast with the encroaching dread. While the film may not reinvent the genre, it offers a competently executed descent into terror, punctuated by moments of visceral shock. For fans of the slasher subgenre, "Pool Party Massacre" provides a serviceable, albeit unsurprising, thrill ride.
