POOL PARTY MASSACRE

Cinemavixion Review

Drew Marvick's "Pool Party Massacre" plunges viewers into a sun-drenched nightmare where a group of affluent young adults find their idyllic summer day brutally interrupted. What begins as a celebration of leisure quickly devolves into a desperate fight for survival as an unseen assailant systematically picks them off. While the premise echoes familiar slasher tropes, the film attempts to inject a dose of dark humor into the proceedings, contrasting the victims' superficial concerns with the grim reality of their predicament. Despite a modest IMDb rating of 4.3/10, the film offers a straightforward, albeit predictable, horror experience for those seeking a B-movie thrill, leaning into its low-budget charm and gory set pieces. It's a straightforward, blood-soaked affair that delivers on its titular promise.
