POLARIS

Cinemavixion Review

In the stark, frozen expanse of 2144, "Polaris" emerges as a compelling survival narrative. Director Kirsten Carthew crafts a visually arresting world where the lines between human and nature blur, centering on a young warrior raised by a polar bear. Viva Lee delivers a powerful performance, embodying both ferocity and vulnerability as her character navigates a brutal post-apocalyptic landscape after escaping capture. The film's striking imagery and the primal struggle for survival resonate deeply, amplified by its critical acclaim, including a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes. "Polaris" is a testament to resilience, offering a unique and thought-provoking cinematic journey into a world pushed to its limits, exploring themes of adaptation and the untamed spirit.
