PLANET PATROL

Cinemavixion Review

In the vast expanse of 1999 science fiction, "Planet Patrol" emerges as a modest, yet earnest, adventure. Directed by Russ Mazzolla, the film follows four young members of the galactic patrol as they embark on what is described as the battle of their lives. The narrative pits these teenage heroes against a sinister antagonist and his unsavory henchmen, promising a classic good versus evil showdown within a sci-fi framework. While the film may not boast extensive accolades or widespread critical acclaim, its straightforward plot and focus on youthful protagonists offer a glimpse into a particular corner of late-90s genre filmmaking. For viewers seeking a simple, family-friendly space opera, "Planet Patrol" presents a direct and uncomplicated viewing experience, anchored by a cast including Peter Barent Lewis, Colin Campbell, and Matt Corboy.
