PLANET KILLER: WHAT WOULD LIFE ON EARTH BE LIKE AFTER AN ASTEROID?

Cinemavixion Review

This compelling drama documentary, 'Planet Killer: What Would Life On Earth Be Like After An Asteroid?', plunges viewers into a chilling hypothetical scenario: the extinction-level event of an asteroid impact. Through the eyes of a young astronomer, the film vividly portrays the discovery of an imminent celestial threat and the futile race against time to issue a warning. The narrative doesn't shy away from the devastating aftermath, depicting the subsequent global winter and the profound extinction of life forms, effectively charting the end of an era. Yet, it also hints at a new beginning, the 'age of the conquerors,' suggesting a profound transformation of our planet. While the scientific backdrop to such a catastrophe is explored, the film's true strength lies in its visceral depiction of humanity's vulnerability and the potential for radical change in the face of cosmic forces. It's a thought-provoking exploration of our planet's fragility and the enduring cycle of destruction and rebirth.
