PLAGUE OF THE DEAD

Cinemavixion Review

Plague of the Dead emerges as a grim chronicle of survival in a world overrun by the undead. Directed by Tony Newton, this film plunges viewers into the heart of a global pandemic where the remnants of humanity document their desperate struggle against relentless zombie hordes. Echoing the lineage of titles like 'Virus of the Dead,' the narrative emphasizes the raw, visceral fight for existence, where courage is measured not just in combat prowess but in the sheer will to endure. While critical reception has been subdued, with an IMDb rating of 2.3, the film's commitment to a harrowing depiction of a zombie-infested landscape offers a chilling, albeit bleak, perspective on the genre. It's a testament to the enduring human spirit, even when faced with unimaginable horrors.
