PINK

Cinemavixion Review

In "Pink," a compelling drama released in 2018, director Austin Herring crafts a tense narrative around an artist facing the final days of house arrest. The plot thickens considerably when a friend's ill-advised act of stashing a backpack of stolen drugs in the artist's home creates an immediate and dangerous predicament. Starring Conner Marx, Katie Gunderson, and Brett Gentile, the film delves into themes of consequence and desperation, as the protagonist navigates a rapidly escalating crisis with his freedom hanging in the balance. While specific critical reception and awards are not widely noted, the film's premise offers a gripping exploration of a character trapped by circumstances beyond his immediate control.
