PIGMAN

Cinemavixion Review

In the chilling landscape of the English countryside, 'Pigman' plunges viewers into a modern-day ghost hunt. The film follows a group of intrepid YouTubers venturing to a secluded farm, driven by the allure of debunking the local legend of the Pigman. Director Louisa Warren crafts an atmosphere thick with suspense, as the digital documentarians find their skepticism eroded by a series of increasingly unsettling occurrences. The narrative expertly blends the thrill of online exploration with the primal fear of the unknown, questioning whether some legends are best left undisturbed. While the found-footage style might feel familiar, the film's commitment to building dread and the compelling performances from its cast, including Ben Silver and Julia Quayle, make this a worthy investigation into the darkness that lurks just beyond the veil of myth. It’s a testament to the enduring power of folklore in the digital age.
