PIG HAG

Cinemavixion Review

Colby Holt and Sam Probst's 2019 indie comedy-drama "Pig Hag" delves into the relatable anxieties of a woman in her mid-thirties grappling with societal pressures to find a partner and start a family. Anna Schlegel stars as Jodie, whose quest for connection takes an unexpected turn at a Guns N' Roses concert. While the film offers a potentially engaging premise, the plot summary suggests a narrative that hinges on the all-too-common experience of being ghosted, a theme explored in numerous contemporary films. The external data indicates a modest reception with an IMDb rating of 4.7/10 and one nomination, suggesting that "Pig Hag" may resonate with audiences seeking straightforward explorations of modern dating woes, though its broader critical impact appears limited.
