PERFECT SISTERS

Cinemavixion Review

This gripping drama, 'Perfect Sisters,' delves into the unsettling true story of two teenage girls whose mother's suspicious death is initially ruled an accident. As the narrative unfolds, the film masterfully explores the dark undercurrents of familial dysfunction and the chilling possibility of premeditated murder. Directed by Stanley M. Brooks and featuring a notable performance by Abigail Breslin, the film navigates the complexities of adolescent desperation and the blurred lines between victimhood and culpability. While the external data suggests a critical reception leaning towards the negative, the film's premise offers a compelling, albeit disturbing, examination of a young life pushed to its absolute limits. It's a stark reminder of the hidden struggles that can exist behind closed doors, prompting reflection on the nature of truth and consequence.
