PERFECT PROFILE

Cinemavixion Review

"Perfect Profile" offers a fascinating glimpse into the intersection of technology and sports in 1989. The film centers on a driven manager who seeks to revolutionize his basketball team by applying algorithmic precision to player selection, only to discover that his ideal candidate defies conventional expectations. This narrative premise, exploring themes of innovation and breaking barriers, is brought to life by a cast that includes notable figures from the sports world. While the film may not have garnered widespread critical acclaim, its unique concept and exploration of gender roles within professional sports make it a noteworthy, if somewhat niche, cinematic endeavor from its era. It's a film that sparks conversation about how we define success and the potential for disruption in traditional fields.
