PENTAGON

Cinemavixion Review

Davor Radic's 2008 Swedish film "Pentagon" presents a darkly comedic and politically incorrect narrative centered on a group of left-wing activists who take a right-wing fanatic hostage. The film, which runs at a brisk 51 minutes, also features an aimless hitman on their trail, leading to a bloody and seemingly gratuitous conclusion. Starring Josefin Lundahl, Camilla Linde, and Erik Frankel, "Pentagon" delves into themes of rebellion and societal discord with a provocative edge. While its IMDb rating of 3.4 suggests a divisive reception, the film's unflinching portrayal of extreme ideologies and its chaotic descent into violence mark it as a unique, albeit polarizing, cinematic experience.
