Cinemavixion Review

Seth W. Owen's 2010 Canadian comedy "Peepers" offers a quirky premise centered on a group of urban voyeurs who find their clandestine activities disrupted when a determined outsider turns the tables. The film, which garnered a win and a nomination, delves into a peculiar battle for dominance over the city's skyline, as the "rag-tag group" led by Steve finds their hobby threatened by Annette, an academic with her own agenda. With a runtime of 85 minutes, "Peepers" explores themes of surveillance and territoriality with a comedic edge, ultimately questioning who holds the power when everyone is watching. The film, noted for its unique narrative, is a watchable exploration of a niche subculture and the unexpected consequences of obsession.
