PATIENT SEVEN

Cinemavixion Review

This anthology thriller offers a chilling descent into the minds of the disturbed. 'Patient Seven' masterfully weaves together six distinct narratives, each more unsettling than the last, as a psychiatrist delves into the horrific experiences of his patients for his research. The film excels in its atmospheric dread and the unreliability of its storytellers, keeping the audience perpetually on edge. The framing device of the psychiatrist's investigation provides a compelling structure, though the true horror lies in the individual tales and the questions they raise about sanity and the nature of evil. While the directorial vision is shared across several talents, the cohesive tone of dread and psychological unease is remarkably consistent, making this a noteworthy entry for fans of the genre.
