PATIENT 79

Cinemavixion Review

In the chilling confines of an abandoned asylum, 'Patient 79' plunges viewers into a disturbing world of clandestine medical practices. Directed with a palpable sense of dread, the film explores the harrowing experiments codenamed Limes, where doctors attempt to eradicate violent episodes through invasive brainwashing and psychological manipulation. The narrative unfolds with a claustrophobic intensity, focusing on the unsuspecting patients caught in the crosshairs of these ethically dubious procedures. Adrian Voo, Bo Lennart Robert Linton, and Athena Baumeister deliver performances that underscore the psychological toll of such experiments. While the film delves into dark territory, it serves as a grim reflection on the potential abuses of power within scientific research, leaving audiences to ponder the fine line between healing and harm.
