PASTURE

Cinemavixion Review

"Pasture" plunges viewers into a disquieting exploration of mental deterioration and unethical scientific pursuit. The film masterfully crafts a Lynchian atmosphere, where the protagonist's descent into schizophrenia becomes a terrifying landscape of unreliable reality. Director Sean Hardaway, alongside a committed cast led by Sarah J. Bartholomew, Hunter Brosig, and Gabriel Grant, delivers a performance that is both harrowing and empathetic. The narrative skillfully blurs the lines between delusion and external threat, making the viewer question the very nature of perception. While the film's bleak tone and disturbing subject matter may not appeal to all, its artistic ambition and visceral execution offer a compelling, albeit unsettling, cinematic experience that lingers long after the credits roll.
