PARASITE

Cinemavixion Review

This film plunges viewers into a chilling encounter aboard an isolated North Sea oil rig. Director Andrew Prendergast crafts a tense atmosphere as a revolutionary cleaning fluid unleashes an unforeseen horror. Gary Condes and Saskia Gould anchor the narrative, navigating the escalating terror when an environmental activist takeover intersects with a deadly biological threat. The claustrophobic setting and the primal fear of the unknown are palpable, making for a gripping, albeit contained, science fiction thriller. While the premise hints at larger ecological and societal anxieties, the core of the film lies in its immediate, visceral struggle for survival against a relentless, emergent danger.
