PARABLE: THE TRUTH BEHIND GANDHI'S AWAKENING

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a compelling glimpse into the formative years of Mohandas Gandhi, specifically his time as a young lawyer in South Africa. It vividly portrays the harsh realities of prejudice and hatred he encountered, alongside his experiences as an ambulance stretcher carrier during the Zulu War of 1906. The film focuses on the pivotal spiritual awakening that profoundly shaped his life, transforming him into the revered Mahatma, or "Great Soul." The narrative skillfully traces the roots of his philosophy and activism, providing essential context for understanding his later global impact. It's a thoughtful exploration of a critical period that forged the principles of a leader who would change the course of history.
