PARABLE FULL EPISODE: DIVING DEEP INTO THE HORROR OF RELIGIOUS CONFLICT

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the devastating consequences of the Thirty Years' War, a conflict that ravaged Europe between 1618 and 1648. It posits that the war, claiming over 5 million lives, stemmed from Martin Luther's quest for a more 'pure' form of Christianity, escalating into an 'apocalypse' between Protestant and Catholic factions. The narrative questions how a dispute within the same faith could ignite such widespread destruction and suffering across the continent. The episode prompts viewers to consider the complex interplay of religious conviction, political ambition, and the catastrophic human cost when faith becomes a catalyst for violence.
