PANDEMIC UNDEAD

Cinemavixion Review

While "PANDEMIC UNDEAD" may lean into the B-movie aesthetic with its visceral "guts, gore, action and bullets," as described, the premise offers a tantalizing blend of horror and comedy. The narrative sets up a classic spring break scenario for college students, which is then dramatically interrupted by a sinister plot involving terrorists and a poisoned water supply in a small town. This juxtaposition of youthful escapism with a widespread threat promises a chaotic and potentially darkly humorous ride, as the students find themselves caught in the crossfire of a much larger, deadlier game. The film, directed by B. Luciano Barsuglia, appears to revel in its genre conventions, aiming for a high-energy, splatter-filled experience.
