PALERMO-MILAN ONE WAY

Cinemavixion Review

Claudio Fragasso's 'Palermo-Milan One Way' (1995) is a taut crime thriller that plunges viewers into the perilous world of mafia informants and their protectors. Giancarlo Giannini delivers a compelling performance as Turi Leofonte, a former mafioso whose decision to testify against his former associates makes him a target. The film expertly navigates the tension of Leofonte's escort to Milan, led by the capable Nino Di Venanzio, played by Raoul Bova. With its blend of action and dramatic stakes, 'Palermo-Milan One Way' offers a gripping narrative that was recognized with 4 wins and 4 nominations, solidifying its place as a noteworthy entry in Italian crime cinema.
