PAKISTAN'S HIDDEN SHAME: THE FORGOTTEN STREET CHILDREN

Cinemavixion Review

Mo Naqvi's documentary, 'Pakistan's Hidden Shame: The Forgotten Street Children,' unflinchingly confronts a deeply disturbing reality. The film casts a stark light on the pervasive sexual abuse faced by children residing in Peshawar, Pakistan. By focusing on this often-overlooked segment of society, Naqvi compels viewers to acknowledge a painful truth. The documentary serves as a crucial, albeit difficult, testament to the vulnerability of these young lives and the systemic failures that allow such exploitation to persist. It is a vital piece of investigative journalism that demands attention and reflection on the urgent need for protection and reform for the most marginalized among us.
