Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a compelling look into the formative years of Black Sabbath, charting their ascent from humble beginnings in 1971 to the influential force that defined heavy metal. Through rare live footage and insightful commentary from band members like Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, and Geezer Butler, the film delves into the band's evolution, particularly during the 'Martin era.' The narrative extends beyond the metal scene, highlighting Sabbath's broader impact on British rock history, with reflections from notable figures such as Angie Bowie and Trevor Bolder. It's a valuable piece for understanding the genesis of a sound that reverberated across music genres and generations.
