OUIJA HOSTS

Cinemavixion Review

Steven M. Smith's "Ouija Hosts" plunges viewers into the chilling heart of a Halloween special gone terribly wrong. The film expertly builds suspense as the crew of a paranormal TV show ventures into a notoriously haunted mansion, only to find the spectral residents far more real and menacing than their on-screen personas. The narrative skillfully blurs the lines between staged scares and genuine terror, making for a compelling watch. While the IMDb rating suggests a divisive reception, the film's strength lies in its atmospheric dread and the escalating sense of helplessness experienced by the protagonists. "Ouija Hosts" offers a solid entry into the found-footage and haunted house subgenres, ideal for those seeking a frightful night in.
