OUIJA EXPERIMENT

Cinemavixion Review

This found-footage style horror offering delves into the unsettling territory of experimental psychology intersecting with the supernatural. The premise is chillingly simple: five individuals agree to participate in a study examining the psychological ramifications of a Ouija board session. What begins as a controlled environment quickly spirals into something far more sinister, as the participants find themselves confronted by forces they cannot comprehend or escape. The film effectively builds tension through its intimate, shaky-cam perspective, immersing the viewer in the escalating dread and paranoia of the subjects. While the execution may lean into familiar genre tropes, the core concept of psychological distress amplified by an unknown entity provides a compelling hook for fans of atmospheric horror.
