ORCA HUNTING

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges viewers into the controversial world of orca captivity, presenting a compelling case against the practice through the work of The Whale Sanctuary Project. Director Bill Neal, with insights from Richard O'Barry, Naomi Rose, and Charles Vinick, embarks on covert missions, investigating the plight of nine orcas held in a secret Chinese facility. The film highlights the ongoing performances of SeaWorld's orcas, despite concessions, and exposes the brutal hunting of killer whales in Eastern Russia for the burgeoning marine theme park industry in China. It serves as a powerful exposé, urging audiences to confront the ethical implications of keeping these magnificent creatures in confinement.
