OPERATION OVERLORD

Cinemavixion Review

This World War II thriller plunges viewers into the heart of pre-Normandy conflict with "Operation Overlord." The premise is gripping: two U.S. soldiers undertake a perilous mission to rescue a POW from a Nazi stronghold just days before the D-Day invasion. Director Brett Bentman crafts a tense atmosphere, focusing on the claustrophobic environment of the abandoned complex and the escalating danger faced by the protagonists. While the narrative doesn't shy away from the grim realities of war, it balances the action with moments of strategic tension. The film's strength lies in its straightforward, high-stakes plot, offering a concentrated dose of wartime suspense that effectively captures the desperation and courage of soldiers operating behind enemy lines.
