OPEN SPACE - EPISODE 3

Cinemavixion Review

This installment of 'Open Space,' titled 'Episode 3,' delves into the fascinating history of space exploration and the technological advancements that enabled humanity to break free from Earth's atmosphere. Directed by Evgeniy Kovalenko and Pavel Tupik, the series commendably attempts to separate scientific fact from the often-mythologized portrayals of space travel. It shines a light on the often-overlooked heroes of this era, chronicling their contributions and the immense challenges faced by twentieth-century missile technology designers. Furthermore, the episode thoughtfully examines the geopolitical undercurrents of the space race and the intense competition that fueled rapid advancements in missile development. While the series aims to educate and debunk myths, its impact is somewhat diminished by the lack of external data to corroborate its narrative scope and potential critical reception.
