OPEN GRAVES

Cinemavixion Review

An atmospheric thriller that plunges viewers into a chilling game of chance, 'Open Graves' masterfully blends suspense with supernatural dread. The narrative, centered around a cursed board game unearthed in Spain, draws you into a desperate fight for survival. While the local data points to its thriller roots, the external information reveals a 2009 release directed by Álvaro de Armiñán, featuring a cast including Mike Vogel and Eliza Dushku. The film's descent into horror, as players meet gruesome fates dictated by the game's dark magic, is palpable. Its limited but impactful runtime ensures a tightly wound experience, making 'Open Graves' a compelling watch for those who enjoy a good old-fashioned supernatural fright with a modern edge.
