ONE WOMAN'S TRASH

Cinemavixion Review

This independent drama, 'One Woman's Trash,' delves into the tumultuous landscape of modern relationships with a raw and unflinching gaze. The narrative centers on Ryan's perilous journey after leaving a stable relationship for a new, ultimately abusive, lover. The film masterfully portrays the painful aftermath, particularly the sting of witnessing an ex-partner's happiness with someone else while navigating one's own fractured reality. Performances, notably from Nikia Kia B Briggs, Dakei Harvey, and Dejuan Ford, anchor the emotional weight of the story, bringing a palpable vulnerability to their characters' struggles. Director Dakei Harvey crafts a compelling, albeit somber, exploration of regret, resilience, and the harsh lessons learned when love is taken for granted. It's a poignant reminder of the consequences of our choices and the complex paths to self-discovery.
