ONE OF THE MISSING

Cinemavixion Review

J.D. Feigelson's "One Of The Missing" offers a stark and unflinching adaptation of Ambrose Bierce's poignant short story. Set against the backdrop of a war-torn landscape, the film masterfully captures the claustrophobic terror experienced by a rebel sniper trapped within the ruins of a bombed-out house. The narrative, driven by a palpable sense of isolation and dread, explores themes of survival and the psychological toll of conflict. Gordon Baxter delivers a compelling performance, embodying the sniper's desperate struggle with raw intensity. While the film may be a lesser-known gem, its powerful atmosphere and thoughtful exploration of a soldier's grim fate make it a worthy watch for those seeking resonant war dramas. The external data indicates a strong IMDb rating of 8.3, suggesting critical appreciation for its impactful storytelling.
