ONE MORE TIME BEFORE I DIE

Cinemavixion Review

Donald Lanouette and Brian Lutes' "One More Time Before I Die" presents a somber narrative of injustice and impending doom. The film follows Percy Harris, a soldier wrongly convicted, whose journey home becomes a poignant, albeit futile, struggle against an inescapable fate. The performances, particularly from the central cast including Brian Lutes, Robynne Eaton, and Ron Trempe, anchor the emotional weight of Harris's plight. While the plot navigates themes of wrongful accusation and the acceptance of destiny, it is the underlying tension and the quiet desperation of the protagonist that truly resonate. This is a film that lingers, prompting reflection on fate, fairness, and the paths we are forced to tread, even when they lead away from our intended destinations.
