ONE ARCHAEOLOGIST'S WILD HUNT FOR THE GARDEN OF EDEN

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary embarks on a fascinating intellectual quest, following archaeologist Juris Zarins as he endeavors to locate the biblical Garden of Eden. Zarins's methodology is rooted in a literal interpretation of scripture, specifically the description of Eden as the confluence of four major rivers. The narrative compellingly illustrates the challenges of reconciling ancient texts with geographical reality, particularly when two of the purported rivers remain elusive. The film offers a unique perspective on how faith, science, and history can intersect in the pursuit of understanding our origins, presenting a thought-provoking exploration even as it highlights the enduring mysteries of the past.
