OLD FRIENDS: A DOGUMENTARY

Cinemavixion Review

Gorman Bechard's "Old Friends: A Dogumentary" offers a heartwarming glimpse into the extraordinary world of the Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. The film chronicles the inspiring journey of founders Zina and Michael Goodin, their dedicated staff, and the heartwarming community of over one hundred senior dogs under their care. We witness the sanctuary's evolution from its modest origins to a sprawling, state-of-the-art facility, a testament to the power of compassion and unwavering commitment. Through intimate portraits of the dogs and the people who have devoted their lives to saving them, Bechard crafts a narrative rich with love, hope, and the profound connection between humans and animals. It's a poignant reminder that for these beloved senior companions, love truly never grows old, and as Zina Goodin aptly puts it, "the sky is the limit" for the impact of kindness.
