NOWHERE IS SAFE | RISE OF THE ZOMBIES

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Nowhere is Safe | Rise of the Zombies,' director Nick Lyon crafts a grim tale of survival set against the backdrop of a zombie-infested San Francisco. The narrative follows a group of survivors who seek refuge within the formidable walls of Alcatraz. However, their sanctuary proves temporary as the relentless undead breach the island, forcing them into a perilous return to the mainland, now a desolate wasteland teeming with the infected. The film features a notable cast including Danny Trejo, Mariel Hemingway, Ethan Suplee, Heather Hemmens, Chad Lindberg, LeVar Burton, and French Stewart, adding a layer of established talent to the desperate struggle for survival. This thriller explores themes of confinement, desperation, and the primal instinct to endure when civilization collapses.
