NOT A GROWN-UP YET

Cinemavixion Review

"Not a Grown-Up Yet" offers a poignant exploration of memory, family, and the enduring power of theater. The film centers on a retired Broadway luminary grappling with Alzheimer's, whose twilight years are unexpectedly illuminated by a collaboration with his great-granddaughter. Together, they embark on a charming local production of Hamlet, a venture that serves as both a therapeutic endeavor and a testament to the character's enduring passion. This narrative weaves a heartwarming tale, highlighting how shared creative pursuits can bridge generational divides and rekindle a sense of purpose, even in the face of cognitive decline. It's a touching reminder of the joy found in artistic expression and familial connection.
