Cinemavixion Review

Saul Pincus's 'Nocturne' offers a compelling exploration of the nocturnal mind, weaving a narrative around a sleepwalker haunted by a woman plagued by insomnia. This 2014 Canadian drama, with a runtime of 116 minutes, delves into the liminal spaces between consciousness and subconsciousness. The performances from Marcia Bennett, Larry Callaghan, and Tessa Cameron anchor the film's ethereal premise, grounding the fantastical elements in relatable human experience. While the film garnered 3 wins and 10 nominations, its critical reception, as indicated by a 5.7 IMDb rating, suggests a polarizing effect on audiences.
