NIGHTRIDE

Cinemavixion Review

Stephen Fingleton's 'Nightride' plunges viewers into a visceral, real-time thrill ride, masterfully executed in a single continuous shot. Moe Dunford delivers a compelling performance as Budge, a small-time dealer desperate for one last score to escape his perilous life. The film's ambitious single-take structure amplifies the tension, immersing the audience directly into Budge's increasingly desperate race against time. As the consequences of a botched deal spiral, Budge navigates a treacherous landscape, pursued by both the product's absence and a menacing loan shark. Supported by strong performances from Joana Ribeiro and Gerard Jordan, 'Nightride' offers a taut, gripping cinematic experience that showcases a remarkable command of suspense and narrative momentum, earning its critical acclaim with an impressive 86% on Rotten Tomatoes.
